Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park is managed by B.C. Parks in collaboration with the Princess Louisa International Society. The Society has over 1200 active donors and many more anonymous contributors. Additionally, there are several related foundations which have supported the Society in achieving our goals under the “Partners” section of this website.

Your financial contribution is used for land acquisition, maintenance of the grounds and docks, seasonal Park Ranger, and limited overhead costs. The Society is made up of volunteers who receive no financial benefit. We consider ourselves a very frugal organization reserving our funds for protecting and preserving the Inlet.

Princess Louisa International Society is a Canadian register charity: 892546367RR0001. All donations made via the website (credit card) will automatically receive a charitable donation tax reciept for Canadian tax purposes. Canadian donors and members wishing to issue a check should make their donations payable to the Princess Louisa International Society. A tax reciept will be emailed upon reciept.

These properties will be added to the park and turned over to BC Parks for long term management. These generous contributions help us preserve additional park lands for all to enjoy for generations to come. Our society will notify you each spring when it is time to reaffirm your commitment to preserve James F McDonald’s dream –

Friend to all who came here

Whose monument is this place of beauty

Given by him to the yachting fraternity

Of the Pacific Northwest so that it will

Remain forever unspoiled. ~ Mac
