Major grants only come to organisations that demonstrate strong, broadly based membership and public support of the campaign. "How many members and contributors do you have?" "How much financial support have they given to this campaign?" These questions are asked by every major foundation.
To do our part, we must increase both the level and number of contributions. If you have not previously donated, please give something to the campaign now. If you have previously contributed, consider increasing your donation. If you don't feel you can contribute right now, persuade another boater to take out a life membership. Pushy? Yes. We, like Mac, want to keep it, "just like it is". With your participation, we can convince the charitable foundations to help the Princess Louisa International Society and Nature Conservancy of Canada preserve all of Princess Louisa Inlet.
Canadian donors and members should make their donations payable to the Princess Louisa International Society. American donors and members should make their cheques payable to the Princess Louisa International Foundation which is a non-profit and charitable corporation fully qualified under United States Internal Revenue Service Code Section 501 (c) (3). If your cheque is for more than $20 and clearly marked "Donation", we will send you a letter acknowledging your contribution for tax purposes.
The Princess Louisa International Society is now accepting donations. If you would like to support us there are two ways to make a contribution:
